Tony Hayward

I just watched one of videos posted in Stanford GSB website, the video that Tony Hayward, CEO of BP, the biggest oil and gas energy company in the world made a speech to students from Stanford GSB. In his speech, Tony said that there are three things to keep in the course of conducting business. The first is to be passionate. Citing words from Steve Job's speech at the commencement of Stanford GSB in 2005, "if you live each day as if the day is the end of your life", he said very strongly that being passionate is one of the most important factors for succeed in business as well as in personal development. Unfortunately, I forgot the other two points thanks to my bad memory, I've been realizing that many people including Steve Jobs and Tony Hayward etc always allude something about being passionate. So maybe, being passionate is a base to be successful.

I should be passionate. But first of all, I must find out what I cannot help but be passionate to...
