Obama awarded Nobel Peace Prize...Why?

Obama, the United States president, has been awarded one of the most prestigious honors in the world, Nobel Peace Prize of 2009 by Norwegian Academy, stunning many people who didn't expect that the president who succeeded former president just nine months ago not only had been nominated by the academy for the prize but also was awarded the prize exactly with less tangible results achieved despite lots of efforts going on currently...

The person who got involved in the process to pick up the laureate maintained that Obama was awarded the prize not because of his future but because of his footprint left for past nine months.

Looking back at the prize given in the past, the laureates no doubt deserve the prize with long and tremendous efforts put to solve difficult social issues and with tangible results consummated by the laureates. So the awarding this year a little bit deteriorates the authenticity of the prize for some people. But this news should be following wind to Obama facing many issues in the country and disappointed at the result of 2016 Olympic games city selection.
